July 4th Sale - Vintage Mikasa Christmas Bouquet Porcelain Covered Holiday Box - Discontinued - Sale - Collectible World Coins

Offered is a vintage, discontinued, round, porcelain, covered box with a festive holiday vibe. The colorful design on this dish features garland bouquets wonderfully decorated with holly, holly berries, spruce leaves, fruits consisting of pears, apples, grapes, cranberries (among others) and finished with a pale-yellow ribbon and bow, all over a white background. The lid is trimmed in gold and a gold band encircles near the top of the bowl. It is in beautiful vintage condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or crazing. Note that there is one barely visible discoloration on the inside of the lid as shown in the photo. This would make an excellent lidded candy dish for the holidays, it could also be used as a trinket box, dresser dish, holiday box, or make a lovely gift container for someone special! This item has approximate diameter of 4.75 inches and is about 2.75 inches high with lid on. Others have dated this pattern to the 1980s and possibly 1990s.
