Incredible vintage 1940s dress in black rayon crepe. Gorgeous soutache trim at the neckline over a sheer mesh. Oodles of horizonal pintucks across the bodice and then again across the peplum below the waist. Shoulder pads, short sleeves, a metal zipper up the back and be sure to check the back view...the way the peplum ends at a point is just beautiful. Label reads: none. Excellent to great vintage condition. Structurally its quite excellent, just a few pea sized or smaller holes, see photos for examples, and the soutache has a couple small areas that could do with being tacked down. The biggest issue is a streak of color fade all down one side and especially at the shoulder. If you're good with synthetic dye you could probably fix this fairly easily.
