1920's Art Deco Evans Compact made of silver metal and chain mail metal mesh on the bottom. The lid is green enamel and is adorned with 2 Terrier dogs on leashes. The inside of the Lid has a mirror and the bottom pouch functions as a coin purse. CONDITION Wear of enamel. Some of the mesh is coming off from the fabric pouch. Mirror shows spot with (water?) damage. Light surface scratching. Tarnish and patina of metal and possible other wear consistent with age and use.
