For sale is a used Thermoworks Thermapen. The Thermapen work like normal but there is a connection issue. Recently for some reason when the needle is folded out the numbers on the screen come and go. In the end with a little movement you can find a spot that works or it just takes a moment for the numbers to display. The pen is usable and detects the temp like normal. I did file a claim with Themoworks and purchased a replacement so I no longer need this one. Again, something is wrong with this unit. When the needle is unfolded the display temperature numbers will come and go. Sometimes it does not happen at all other times it happens a number of times until you find a position that works. Maybe it just needs a cleaning. I do not know how much longer it will work or maybe this is a simple repair. Since I do not have replacement batteries it may just be that it needs new batteries.
