"The Beavers' Tree," 2023. My husband grew up in the middle of nowhere, and when we visit his parents, he and I will always take a walk through the woods surrounding their place. During the winter of 2022, we were walking along the river, and I was captivated by these 3 trees that had been gnawed at but not cut down; I kept thinking about how my I, my husband, and the beavers all occupied this same spot along the river but at different times, and how we'd just missed each other. Anyways, I took a picture of one of the trees and painted it lol. 12"x8" prints available
